About this infection
Fakeav.auqd seems to be false positive Trojan, detected by AVG anti-virus software. Trojans are very dangerous computer viruses that can do serious damage to your computer so it is understandable that you would get alarmed if your anti-virus suddenly displays a message about them being present on your computer.
No other anti-virus program reports this threat and AVG is unable to delete it. When this issue was reported, tech-support explained that it is a known problem that seems to affect the AVG 2016 version. Their tech-support asks users to obtain the newest version of the software and that should solve the issue. It does not seem like you need to do anything to delete Fakeav.auqd, besides updating to AVG 2017.
Does it affect your computer?
Trojans can be very serious infections because they can open a path for malware to enter your computer and/or steal your private information, such as banking details. This could lead to not only a breach of privacy but also financial loss. Since this does not appear to be a legitimate infection, no need to worry. The AVG anti-virus will report the supposed Trojan as it would any other threat but it will be unable to uninstall Fakeav.auqd and give an error. If you are getting this warning, you must be using the outdated version of this software. AVG has stopped releasing new malware definitions for the old, 2016 version of AVG, and that, according to technical support, has led to false detection.
Fakeav.auqd removal
AVG tech-support does not think it is a serious issue and you do not need to remove Fakeav.auqd as it seems to be a false positive. Simply upgrade to the AVG 2017 version and the issue should be solved.
Al in all we suggest to scan your computer to be sure that your computer is not infected with any kind of malware.
